Racker

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To prepare clips, racks, frames, canes, and beams prior to racking parts. Secure parts for processing set-up prior to the finishing sequence. Unrack, inspect, and defabricate clips, racks, canes, frames, and beams at the close of the finishing sequence. Identify, count, and record parts both entering and leaving the process sequence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Locate and rack, count, sort, un-rack, identify material to be racked, and package material as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
• Utilize proper canes and polys to rack parts according to racking instructions. Maximize each load beam set-up as required to meet customer needs.
• Store all unused racking/un-racking equipment and framing components in designated areas at all times.
• Inspect materials while handling and inform Lead or Supervisor of defective or mislabeled material, erroneous counts, inadequate racking instructions, or racking material as necessary.
• Maintain safe working environment by keeping assigned work area clean and organized. Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to Lead or Supervisor.
• Abide by all safety rules and follow proper safety procedures outlined in company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned including, but not limited to working in other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting is recommended.
• Ability to read, interpret, and comply with company documents such as; safety rules, work policies and procedures.
OTHER INFORMATION
At AaCron Anodizing, this position requires the following skills and abilities:
• Basic computer operating skills.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers in all departments and work together to achieve daily goals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for dexterity related tasks.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with or without assistance.
• Frequent work near moving mechanical parts.
• Exposure to chemicals at OSHA acceptable levels.
• Moderate noise levels.
• Subject to extreme temperatures and humidity.

Unracker

Packager

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To package all scheduled materials and products, manually or via machine as required and by completing responsibilities proficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Obtain and sort products and inspect materials around product, such as but not limited to: corrugated flat sheet, kraft paper, corrugated cushion, bubble wrap, stretch film, and masking film.
• Verify material piece counts and weigh containers (adjust quantity as necessary) on all packaged materials.
• Label containers, container tags, and products along with nailing, taping, closing, or sealing containers.
• Record information such as weight, time, and date packaged.
• Complete necessary written paperwork, including accurate material piece counts, and then turn paperwork into the office to have a packing slip cut.
• Properly complete all paperwork as required in the packaging department.
• Maintain safe working environment by keeping assigned work area clean and organized. Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to Lead or Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned including, but not limited to working in other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and comply with company documents such as; safety rules, work policies, procedures, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
OTHER INFORMATION
At AaCron Anodizing, this position requires the following skills and abilities:
• Basic computer operating skills.
• Communicate effectively with all co-workers in all departments and work together to achieve daily goals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute, rate ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for dexterity related tasks.
